About Blue Eyes' Babydolls
Our Story
We are a family-owned and operated Olde English Miniature Babydoll Southdown Sheep breeder located in Northwest Wisconsin. We raise OEBMSSR, NABSSAR & BSRA registered sheep. We strive for the best disposition, friendliness, confirmation and coloring.
Our passion for Babydolls started when a local farm, Lucky B Farm out of Concord, MN put out an essay contest to win a registered Babydoll ewe lamb in 2023. Our 10 year old daughter at the time wrote her essay, crossed her fingers, and won out of 126 kids nationwide!
She brought home our first two Babydolls and from there, our passion for the breed has only grown. We absolutely fell head over heels in love with their loyal, friendly nature and their cute smile. From learning all about the breed, to learning how to fit and show them, to breeding and lambing, it has been a fun experience so far!
Why Blue Eyes' Babydolls? Our daughter's Papa called her Blue Eyes. He was very mischievous and always bringing home some new animal baby to add to our farm. You never knew what he would have in the truck to drop off. He passed away unexpectedly just before she entered the contest. When our daughter was trying to decide what she would like to call her Babydoll business, Blue Eyes' Babydolls was a no brainer and a perfect way to remember her Papa's fond nickname for her.
We just recently had our first lamb born here on our farm, purchased our own rams and more beautifully put together ewes and we could not be more excited for the future!
